Rugby clubs in Coventry and Warwickshire have finally gained their fixture lists for the 2019/20 season - with some of the Midlands Leagues receiving an overhaul.

In the Midlands Premier, only 13 teams will be participating following Birmingham and Solihull's decision to pull out of the Midlands leagues. Broadstreet start their season on September 7 with a home game against Sandbach while local rivals Nuneaton travel to Doncaster Phoenix.

Huw Thomas' first Midlands One West game in charge of Newbold will see them make the trip to Ludlow. Newly-promoted Kenilworth kick off against Stourbridge Lions.

Only five Warwickshire teams are in Midlands Four West South this season with the likes of Upton-on-Severn and Old Yardleians dropping in from the level above while Birmingham Civil Service were promoted last term.  Dunlop are reinserted at level nine after withdrawing from the leagues in 2018/19. The opening round of fixtures is on September 14.

At level 10 there has been a merger between two Midlands Five divisions to create a new-look Midlands Five West South with four Warwickshire clubs mixed with clubs from as far afield as Shropshire. The opening round of fixtures is on September 14. There will be plenty of travel for our local clubs with Atherstone facing a 160-mile round trip to Bishops Castle, Stourport (140 miles) Chaddesley Corbett (90 miles) and Redditch (70 miles).
