New offensive line coach Charlie Dickey lands his first commitment at Oklahoma State in three-star offensive guard Trent Pullen.

“I AM COMMITTED!! First of all I want to thank God! Without him NOTHING is possible. I want to thank my parents for pushing me and believing in me and sacrificing everything so that I can have the best opportunities! I want to thank every one of my coaches from youth to high school. I would not be the athlete I am today without you! To my ultimate coach my dad! You had this vision for me from the beginning! I am grateful to have a father like you. To all the schools that saw my talent and gave me an amazing opportunity to play football! I am always grateful to you! In the end you can only choose one school! I am proud to say I am an OSU COWBOY! Thank you to Coach Dickey and Coach Gundy for picking me because I pick you too! #gopokes”

Pullen chose the Cowboys over 14 other programs, including Texas A&M, Arkansas, LSU, Purdue, Colorado, Baylor, Boston College, and Houston, among others. It’s a little surprising as Baylor was considered the favorite to land him by 247Sports.

The Waco native was in Stillwater for the Orange Blitz on Easter weekend — his second visit to Stillwater since the beginning of March — which seems to have sealed the deal. Also important was the relationship he had with Coach Dickey who offered Pulled while coaching at Kansas State. It seems the relationship was strong enough that the offensive guard and center prospect followed him to OSU.

Pullen’s commitment brings OSU’s total for 2020 to six. He is the Cowboys’ second offensive line commit for the class, joining four-star offensive guard Eli Russ.

Here are his highlights from his junior season.
