Two fire engines have attended a property fire on Rutland Avenue in Whitehaven.
Fire crews were called at 11:09am today, Thursday 9 April.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus, hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation unit.
“Two casualties suffering from minor burns were treated by paramedics.
“Crews were on scene for two hours.”
