A VAN flipped on its side after a crash in Southampton city centre.
The incident involving a red and white van happened at the junction of East Park Terrace and New Road, near Southampton Solent University, at about 12.25pm.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: "It was reported that a white VW panel van had collided with the rear of a white Kia Picanto before colliding with a lamp post and rolling onto its side.
"Fire and Ambulance also attended but not believed to be any serious injuries at this time.
"The Highways Agency was also notified as there was oil spilled onto the road."
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman told the Daily Echo that an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, a Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance critical care car, and a hazardous area response team.
The car driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, and the van driver was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information on the crash can call police on 101.
