IT HAS been announced that domestic flights are due to take off from the runway again at Southampton Airport.
The airport's managing director Neil Garwood said today that Logan Air and Eastern Airways will soon be resuming its normal services.
He said it was a "pleasure" to announce their return, and welcomed them back to the runway.

Logan Air will begin running domestic flights from June 15, while Eastern Airways is set to come back on June 22.
He wrote on social media: "My pleasure to announce return of domestic flights from 15/6 with Logan Air and 22/6 with Eastern Airways."
Neil then referred to Glasgow Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Newcastle Airport and Manchester airport, saying they are "bringing the UK back together".
He added: "Missed you but soon to be reunited. We’re bringing the UK back together."
Airport bosses announced earlier this month that they are in “full on planning mode” for a return to usual operations once travel restrictions are lifted in lockdown.
The airport was deserted after travel operator Flybe fell into administration in early March, which accounted for 95 per cent of flights at the airport.
The return of the airline flights comes during the same month that Neil Garwood is due to leave, after nine years with the organisation.
