Lincolnshire celebrates Heroes Night

The Lincolnshire Police Department hosted its first Heroes Night Friday, deciding it wanted to put its own twist on the National Night Out events held in many towns around the country in August.

The event honored heroes from the Lincolnshire Police Department, the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District, the military, educators, and volunteers from various civic groups and organizations.
