Hyped: Chinatown Market revealed a 'very limited quantity' will be available online on July 19
'Every project we do, we’re just trying to make sure it’s unique and tells its own story. This UV one is really fun for us, because UV has been so powerful for our own brand in things that we design from t-shirts and other apparel,' Cherman said.
Cherman's Chinatown Market previously found itself in the spotlight when basketball legend LeBron James wore a custom pair of smiley-face adorned Chuck 70s that had been created by the brand.
Cherman added that as a 'customization-crazy person', working with a 110-year-old brand like Converse has been a dream.
'I love shoes like this because I can do whatever I want to them and have so much fun with them. That truly is the core of why it’s so fun to work with Converse. We have this shoe that you can do anything with. It’s made of cotton canvas, one of the most malleable materials in the game, and it’s great to be able to play with that.'
