The couple shared their horrific tale of travel on Instagram, revealing it ended up taking them 36 hours to get to their correct destination.

It all started Monday evening, after Sarah, 28, took to Instagram to post a video of herself venting about the annoying detour.
To make matters even more frustrating, the reason for their destination oversight wasn't due to weather.

'We finally made it to a hotel room, we're not at our final destination,' she said. 'But 24 hours later, we finally have a place to lay our heads. For those wondering, it wasn't the weather. If it was the weather, I wouldn't be pissed.'
The very next day, the couple were on board a small aircraft and en route to their correct destination.

'After being delayed and flying for 24 hours and being sent to the wrong island, we're going to the right place!' Wells said as he sat beside his girlfriend.
Finally, the couple made it to their intended island.
But not long after arriving, the rain started coming down.

Sarah and Wells were travelling to the islands in honor of the actress' 28th birthday.
The Bachelor In Paradise star and Sarah have been going strong for a year now, and Wells posted a touching birthday tribute for his girlfriend in honor of her big day.
