Last week she shared a snap on Instagram of the night she first met her now-husband, during a girls trip to Ibiza.

And now Fearne Cotton has recalled how she wooed Jesse Wood, and admits she was the instigator.

In a clip from Shopping With Keith Lemon shared exclusively with MailOnline, the TV presenter, 37, said: 'On the first night [in Ibiza], weirdly a friend that I wasn’t with was just in this bar so I walked over to go and say hi and Jesse was on this particular table and that was it.

'We said hello and we shook hands, but it was a bit of a slow one like "ohhhh". So we just chatted from midnight until 7 in the morning, we just chatted.'

Pressed by her old friend Keith, Fearne recalled: 'I was very, highly flirty. I was probably more bolshy.'

'Did you snog him?' asked Keith in the scene, that will air on Thursday evening.

'We had a very quick, discreet kiss,' comes the blonde's reply.

Pressing on, Keith asked: 'Did you get fireworks?'

'Oh yeah, whole thing. I really knew. Yeah, I knew [straight away].'

The full interview airs on Shopping With Keith Lemon on ITV2 at 10PM on Thursday.

Just last week she posted a photo for her followers of the heart-warming moment she first swapped numbers with her now-husband, having just met the guitarist, 42, sparking their eventual romance and marriage in 2014.

Following Fearne's post, the comments section was flooded with sweet responses from her celebrity pals, including Holly Willoughby, who branded it a 'moment captured forever.'

In the snap, Fearne and Jesse looked cosy as they relaxed in an Ibiza bar, exchanging numbers in their first ever meeting.

The DJ explained in the caption that the moment was captured by Irish presenter Amanda Byram.

Fearne wrote: 'My mate @amandabyram who I was on a girls holiday with, took a sneaky photo 8 years ago to the day of me and @jessejameswood swapping numbers on a night out in Ibiza. 

'Who would have thought it would lead to two kids and marriage! A game changing, very drunken night out that I’m forever grateful for. Happy ‘when we met’ anniversary Jesse.'

Since that fateful meeting, Fearne and Jesse went onto marry three years later, and are parents to Rex, six, and Honey, three.

The post was soon inundated with comments from some of Fearne's celebrity pals, who were also moved by the sweet throwback.

Holly wrote: 'No way... this photo is incredible! Moment captured forever.'

Fearne has recently been open about her previous struggles with anxiety and depression, and how Jesse remained a pillar of support throughout the tough times.

Speaking to Health and Wellbeing magazine in March, the star said: 'This is something I really struggle with and have to keep a check on. 

'My husband [Jesse Wood] is key because he always tells me when I've gone a bit off-centre or if I'm being a bit manic, and it really helps to have someone who's very honest with me. 

'I try to carve out a bit of me-time within my crazy family life, which can be pretty hard, but simple things such as having 20 minutes to do some exercise, or reading a book in the bath at the end of the day, can be quite game-changing.'
