Haryana Chief Minister sounds poll bugle

Tuesday, 20 November 2018 | PNS | Chandigarh

Sounding the poll bugle, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Monday claimed that BJP would again form Government at the Centre under the leadership of Narendra Modi by winning 350 seats.

“Under the guidance of Narendra Modi, the BJP would win all the ten Lok Sabha seats in Haryana,” said Manohar Lal while addressing ‘Jan Vikas Rally’ at village Sultanpur in district Gurugram where Prime Minister inaugurated two projects and laid the foundation stone of one project.

The Chief Minister said that five years back in 2013, Narendra Modi had called upon the people in Rewari for ensuring the victory of BJP in the 2014 parliamentary elections.

“With the blessing of the people, the BJP came to power. Now, he has again visited Haryana on the same day, i.e., November 19 which can be termed as start of 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” Manohar Lal.

He said that PM Modi has fulfilled his promise of ‘One Rank One Pension’ which he made to the people in Rewari.

Manohar Lal said that this is PM Modi’s eleventh visit to Haryana and this has reflected his deep association with the people of the State.

While describing Haryana as a State of Jawan, Kisan and Pehalwan, he thanked the Prime Miniser for giving one rank one pension for the ex-servicemen and giving significant rise in MSP to farmers.

Nobody would have even thought that the Bajra would be sold at higher rates than wheat and farmers of south Haryana have been particularity benefited from this, he added.

On the issue of employment, the Chief Minister further said that the present State Government has completed the backlog in Government jobs. 30,000 candidates have joined their place of postings. Apart from this, test for 18,000 posts of Group D has been conducted and the result would be declared within a month.

The recruitment to the Group D posts had not been made in the last 15 years. 20,000 more jobs would be given to the youth soon, he said.

Apart from this, 1.25 lakh jobs have been provided in the industrial sector and three lakh more jobs would be provided in this sector to the people in the state, he added.

Manohar Lal said that Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, village Dudhola, Palwal would be first skill university of the country where wide range of courses would be offered to the youth to make them skilled so that they could get employment.

While referring to the Ayushman Bharat-Health Protection Scheme, the Chief Minister said that there are 15.50 lakh families in the State which could get benefit of health cover of upto Rs  five lakh.

50,000 have got themselves registered under the scheme and in two just months, 1500 beneficiaries have availed the benefit under the scheme. Now, the people need not take loan or mortgage their property for the medical treatment, he added.

On the occasion, he described the Kudli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway as the lifeline for the people of Haryana.

More industries would come up along the expressway. As the vehicles coming from other states would not be have to enter into Delhi, this will help NCR areas like Gurugram and Faridabad in reducing pollution, he said.

He added that the State Government is developing Hisar Airport and looking forward for assistance of the Central Government for the same.
