Hectic parleys are going on in the Congress for selection of the candidate for the post of the mayor of Dehradun municipal corporation. The names of the former Minister Dinesh Agarwal, State party vice-president Surya Kant Dhasmana, Mahanagar president Lal Chand, former Mahanagar president Prithiviraj Chauhan and S P Singh are making rounds as probable candidates.
Former president of DAV Students Union Sangram Singh Pundeer, former MLA Rajkumar and the leader of the opposition in the municipal corporation Neenu Sehgal have also thrown their hats in the ring for the coveted post.
