Mayor Pramod Dubey on Thursday chaired a review meeting of all the Zone Commissioners and emphasised on ensuring total cleanliness across the city .

Dubey outlined the action plan by reviewing the basic amenities including cleanliness in a meeting of all the Zones here.

He directed the officials to formulate a firm strategy and make necessary arrangements of proper monitoring at every level for timely implementation of the various development schemes.

In the meeting, all the Zone Commissioners and Health Officers including Additional Commissioner Avinash Bhoi were present.

Dubey directed the city administration to take action for immediate implementation of cleanliness plan by covering big drains.

He emphasized on taking the issue of sanitation of the city as top priority.

Dubey issued necessary instructions for the effective utilization of the manpower of Raipur Municipal Corporation by making a complete assessment of the current employee structure.

He also instructed all employees to ensure centralized system of deployment and to appoint personnel in the services of cleanliness, sanitation and healthcare.

He also assigned fresh responsibilities to the employees currently assigned with work that is not aligned with the aforesaid objectives.

The City Administration has been asked to work on a concrete plan to efficiently manage street dogs, mosquitoes and stray animals that currently roam freely in the city.

Dubey also directed the management of 'Bapu Ki Kutia' and 'Siyan Sadan' to get the establishments repaired and also maintained well.

He also asked all the Zone Commissioners to submit the report of the door-to-door garbage collection activities and maintain close monitoring of the entire process of disposal of solid waste in all zones.

According to the general budget provisions of the municipal corporation, the officials have also been issued directives in the meeting to expedite all pending works.
