Former Union Minister and ex-city MP Pawan Kumar Bansal on Sunday alleged that the BJP has put a roadblock in the development of the villages and is misleading the innocent villagers by making false promises.
Bansal, while addressing a Gramin Sammelan here said that firstly, the BJP had taken the villages under Municipal Corporation unconstitutionally and mislead the sarpanches. Later, the ruling BJP had brought strict laws and stated that the construction beyond red line of the villages is illegal and strict action would be taken against the violators.
“This was the modus operandi of the BJP to befool of the innocent villagers," the former Union Minister said.
Chandigarh Congress president Pardeep Chabbra said that the city BJP MP along with the team of all BJP leaders have cheated the villagers.
He also reiterated that if the Congress comes to power, not a single building out of limits of red line will be demolished.
