Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources Ravindra Choubey is returning to state capital on Tuesday after recovering from cardiac ailment. He was at present taking rest at the residence of his doctor daughter in national capital, New Delhi.
Earlier, he was treated at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow. He suffered mild cardiac arrest at Uttar Pradesh capital, Lucknow where he went for campaigning for the general elections, 2019.
In between, because of his ailment the additional portfolio of ministry of law and legal affairs, which Choubey was also holding, was assigned to Mohammad Akbar.
It is expected that Choubey will now resume to work and will also participate in the cabinet meeting scheduled on Wednesday.
