Miscreants escaped with valuables in a stolen car of accountant whose house was burgled at Damkheda under Kolar police station on Friday; accused escaped with valuables worth over Rs 7 lakh in the burglary.
The victim MS Kripashnakar along with his family had gone to Sikkim on June 11 and on Friday neighbours informed victim who reported the incident to his brother MS Jaishankar regarding the burglary.
SHO Kolar Anil Bajpai said that victim’s brother after receiving information lodged a complaint with the Kolar police and stating that his brother lives in Damkheda and along with his family had gone to Sikkim on June 11 and on June 14 his neighbours informed that locks are found broken and car is missing. He found that miscreants escaped with the valuables in the car which was parked. Maruti Baleno car parked of the victim was used to carry the valuables stolen from the house.
The miscreants broke the locker gate after failing to open it. The miscreants broke locks of gates and committed the burglary.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and started further investigation.
The victim works as an accountant with the United Insurance Company.
Total loss would be around Rs 7 – Rs 8 lakh. The miscreants burgled Rs 40000 cash and gold and silver jewelry. The car was worth over Rs 6 lakh . The exact loss could be provided by the victim after his return to Bhopal.
