SAIL chairman visits Ranchi units

SAIL Chairman, Anil Kumar Chaudhary, reviewed the performances of SAIL Ranchi Units of RDCIS, CET, MTI & SSO on May 22 and guided the officials for a greater synergistic confluence with overall SAIL vision and goals. His afternoon stint began with the inauguration of the upgraded auditorium at MTI, Ranchi.  The 240 seating capacity Centrally Air-conditioned Auditorium Hall, which hosts National and International Seminars, Conclaves and other special events has been given a major facelift.

Thereafter, he met young Manager's of SAIL at MTI, and in his tutelary address, he urged them for their active participation in further improvement of company procedures and processes for better results.

Speaking to the young researchers of RDCIS, SAIL; he delineated the thrust areas of "Special Steels", "state-of-the-art rails" and "Cost reduction through improved coal preparation" and stressed the need for path-breaking basic research in these areas.

He further opined that SAFETY draws utmost importance in SAIL for not only employees, but also for contractual workmen.

Later in the review meeting with the in-house consultant CET, he exhorted the engineers for instilling further precision and innovation in implementation of projects.
