State students shine in JEE Advance

Dozens of students of Jharkhand cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) advance examinations, the result for which was declared on Friday evening. Gudipati Aniket of Narwa region of East Singhbhum scored the 29th rank in the examination, thus becoming the State topper.

Ankit Kumar Jain of Delhi Public School Ranchi bagged the second position in the State by scoring 30th rank in JEE Advance. Rayyan Shahid, also from DPS Ranchi became the third topper with 69th rank.

More than 50 students of DPS Ranchi qualified the examination, four of whom including Ankit Kumar Jain, Rayyan Shahid, Ayush Kumar and Adarsh Raj scored ranks within AIR 500. Ram Singh, Principal of the school congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers for this great achievement.” It is indeed a matter of immense pride for the school that such a huge number of students have qualified,” he said.

Similarly, 30 students from Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali (Ranchi) also qualified the prestigeous examination and are set to take admission in various IITs across the country.

Meanwhile, six students from Oxford Public School cleared the examination. SBP Mehta, the Chairman of the school and Suraj Sharma, Principal, congratulated all the successful students and wished them bright future and a successful career.

Also, two students of Sarala Birla Public School cleared the examination. Rupesh Raj and Gaurav Oraon of the school bagged 1125 and 987 (category) ranks, respectively. Principal Paramjit Kaur said that it is because of the hard work of the students, parents and the teachers that the school continues to script such success stories. "Once again, the students have proved their mettle by performing well in JEE Advanced 2019," she said.

A total of 21 students from FIITJEE Dhanbad qualified the examination with the best rank being 608 and three students bagging ranks within 1000.

As many as 73 students of Ranchi based coaching institute Champ Square cleared the JEE advance examination. Adarsh Raj of institute scored 344th rank and got place amongst the top five best performing students in Ranchi.

Attributing his success to the institute, Raj said, "The teachers of the institute can get even the average students perform exceptionally well. They always motivate us and clear our doubts. More than 150 tests were conducted at the institute before the advance examination which proved to be quite fruitful."
