A motorist has been taken to hospital after a crash on Anglesey.

Police and paramedics were called to the collision involving a motorbike and a Ford Transit van on the B4119 at Llangaffo just before 9.30am.

The road was closed for more than an hour with the Wales Air Ambulance also attending.

The casualty was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by road ambulance but their condition is not known.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We responded with a rapid response vehicle, a urgent care services vehicle and an air ambulance, one patient was conveyed to Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital, Bangor."
