Up to six police cars and the helicopter have been seen in the Earl Street area since 4pm.
Reports suggest they are looking for a car.

Car being recovered
We are hearing that a car is being recovered from the area near Dee Cottages - we’ve not had confirmation yet if it is connected to the incident.
Reports of two arrests
Witnesses have reported two people being put in the back of a police car, however officers have not confirmed this.
What police have said
This is what police have told us about the incident:
We were called just before 4pm to reports of a man and a woman decamping from a car on Earl Street. They were then seen acting in a suspicious manner. We are still pursuing the car.
Police seen on multiple roads
The initial call came in from Earl Street but police have been seen at various locations including Flint Castle, Dee Cottages and Henry Taylor Street.
Man and woman seen 'decamping' from car
Police say they received reports of a man and a woman decamping from a car. They were then seen acting in a suspicious manner.
Police helicopter involved in search
Witnesses report that the police helicopter is also out above the town.
Officers searching for car
Police tell us that they are looking for a car after being called to Earl Street at 4pm.
Police in Flint
A heavy police presence has been reported in Flint.
Officers have been seen on Earl Street and around Dee Cottages and the town’s castle.
