Over 100,000 visitors from across the country headed to West Lothian to see Scotland’s first eight-foot-tall Lego brick dragon earlier this month.

The impressive fire breathing dragon, named Mithrog, is located in the Centre, Livingston, and is joined by various other life-size Lego models, including a four-foot unicorn, a five-foot princess, and a six-foot wizard among others.

The Brick Kingdom exhibition, on until Monday (April 22), is aimed at giving families the chance to shop, eat and play together in the mall during the Easter holidays.

Other activities include a dragon hunt, where kids are encouraged to find 15 Lego brick eggs or dragons hidden in store windows around the mall to be in with a chance of winning a family lunch.

Ashley Bisland, deputy director at The Centre, Livingston, said: “Our Brick Kingdom exhibition got off to a fantastic start this weekend with over 100,000 shoppers turning up to see all of the life-like models - in particular the spectacular fire breathing dragon, Mithrog, who was a big hit with adults and kids.

“The feedback has been fantastic and I’m sure the exhibition will continue to be a huge success throughout the Easter holidays.”
