Pupils from Bathgate Academy held a fundraising sportathon that was packed with a full day of events.

The pupils held the event in the school to raise money for West Lothian Riding for the Disabled and the school’s Polar Academy trip and raised whopping £3750.

There was an amazing range of activities to suit all tastes, including badminton, volleyball, swimming, lacrosse, dodge ball, netball, zumba, body attack and dance.

The school’s sports captains - Kieran Hopkins, Sian Moffat, Ailie McLean, Natalie Reilly and Rebecca Primrose - worked closely with PE Staff to ensure the event was a great success.

A cheque will be handed over to Riding for the Disabled later this month.
