A talented West Lothian make-up artist is facing a bright future after winning a glittering award.

Sabaa Khan, from Livingston, won freelance make-up artist of the year in the Premium Category of in the third Britain’s Asian Wedding Awards 2019.

After the awards Sabaa thanked everyone who has supported her along with her clients, friends, family and husband.

She said on her Facebook page: “I’m so humbled by the response and support everyone has given me.

“I have worked so hard over the years, even before make up industry boomed.

“I remember paying to stand around wedding fares handing out business card, travelling and making practically nothing just to add to my portfolio.

“It’s definitely all paid off.”

She said: “Her work is of very high quality, she is articulate and always endeavours to try her best, leaving her clients with a whole experience not just like any other make up artist who just wants to get the job done without adding any enjoyment or giving the client value for money.

“She make everyone feel welcomed in her studio and treats everyone special.

“Sabaa’s future goal is to inspire and teach more women all about empowering themselves and helping them with confidence issues etc.
