Bronte Hutchison, 23, from Jedburgh in Roxburghshire, was killed in the early hours of Sunday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering severe injuries on the A6091 Melrose Bypass at the junction with the Tweedbank Roundabout, near Galashiels.

The black Kawasaki ZX636 was travelling eastbound from Galashiels at about 3.40am.

Bronte fell from the bike with the 27-year-old rider, who was taken to Borders General Hospital and later released.
