Lewis Capaldi will be playing Edinburgh and Glasgow as part of his headline tour this December.

The East Lothian lad announced the Scottish dates earlier this week on Instagram, revealing that he would be performing at Glasgow's O2 Academy and Edinburgh's Usher Hall.

Fans of singer/songwriter will be scrambling to get their hands on tickets to see their favourite star perform live. And they'll have to be quick - last year ticket's to his Barrowlands show sold out in less than an hour.

General sale tickets will be available from 9am today, however you'll need to be over-14 to attend and under-16s mut be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. There will also be a limit for six tickets per person and per credit card.

Lewis, from Bathgate, will be performing at the Usher Hall on 5 December before taking to the stage at Glasgow's O2 Academy on December 8.

His Scottish dates are part of a massive UK tour to conicide with the unveiling of his debut record – which was crafted over an 18-month period in London, New York and LA and will be out on May 17.

His breakthrough song Someone You Love, which reached number three in the charts, will feature on the record alongside tracks Grace and Bruises.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a stellar start to 2019 and has, to date, sold more than 90,000 headline show tickets and amassed more than 330 million plays across streaming services.
