Apartments in the works near Texas Stadium site

JPI is already building one rental community next door

Apartment builder JPI is working on plans for a second rental community next to the former Texas Stadium site in Irving.

JPI is already building a 282-unit apartment project on Walton Walker Boulevard and Texas Plaza Drive. Now the developer has filed plans with Irving for a second rental community next door.

“Phase two will add 345 units and is slated to close in the second quarter of 2020,” JPI’s Brad Taylor said. “We’re excited to continue growing our presence in our backyard of Irving.”
