SportsDayHS' Week 4 Dallas-area rankings: Frisco Lone Star tops 5A; Mansfield Summit, Mesquite make debut 

Frisco Lone Star hasn't let off the gas, and Mansfield Summit and Mesquite remain undefeated through Week 4.

Week 4 of the high school football season has come and gone.

SportsDayHS' panel of experts -- Callie Caplan, Joshua Friemel, Mitchell Gladstone Joseph Hoyt, Tommy Magelssen and Greg Riddle -- voted to decide the top 20 teams after the second week of the season. The top team in their ballots received 20 points, the second received 19 and so on. The totals were tallied, and we ranked each team by its composite score.

On the rise: Mansfield Summit and Mesquite improved to 4-0 this week, earning a spot in the rankings for the first time this season. The biggest riser this week was Arlington Bowie, jumping up four spots despite being idle. Arlington ISD has four teams ranked in the Class 6A top 20, the most of any district.

Dropped out: Sachse, 14; Mansfield Lake Ridge, T16.

5A rankings

On the rise: Red Oak leaped into the top 10 after its 28-21 win over South Oak Cliff. Mansfield Timberview (50-14 winners over Woodrow Wilson) and Kimball (63-0 over Thomas Jefferson) moved up two spots.

4A/Others rankings

On the rise: Hillcrest's 49-17 win over Bonham was its smallest margin of victory of the season, and the undefeated Panthers moved into the Top 10 after another dominating performance. Sunnyvale, 45-7 winners over Glen Rose, is No. 2 for the first time this season after starting the year at No. 8. Celina, Anna and Midlothian Heritage jumped two spots after Week 4 victories.

Large private school rankings

On the rise: Is the best private school football in Texas played in Fort Worth? All Saints beat previous No. 1 Parish Episcopal 24-17, paving the way for Nolan (44-20 winners over Fort Worth Eastern Hills), to claim the top spot for the first time this season. All Saints moved from unranked to No. 2, garnering a first-place vote for knocking off Parish Episcopal.

On the rise: Shelton blasted Lewisville Founders Classical 57-6 to move to 4-0 and into the top five. Fort Worth Christian, which topped Maypearl 39-29 moved up one spot.
