Two people were hospitalized after a fire in Dover Saturday morning, but their injuries were non-life threatening, according to the Dover Fire Department.

Firefighters from that department arrived on Sherwood Court just after 10 a.m. to find a two-story home burning, said Dover Fire Department Deputy Chief Michael O'Conner.

The department got backup at the fire from the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company, the Little Creek Fire Company and the Cheswold Fire Company, O'Conner said. Companies from Hartly and Magnolia covered for the Dover department while they fought the fire.

The fire was under control by 10:24 a.m., O'Conner said.
