One of two suspects in an armed hotel robbery that injured three people Sunday has been arrested.

Police said Deshaun Harris, 42, and another man burst into a room at Dover's Kent Budget Inn pointing handguns and demanding money. The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m.

After taking a woman's purse, they beat the three occupants of the room. A 60-year-old woman needed surgery for an injury to her leg. A 36-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman suffered cuts to their faces.

Dover Police said Deshaun Harris, 42, is one of two men responsible for a recent hotel robbery.

Police were able to capture Harris' image from cameras near the hotel. He was charged with 1st degree robbery, assault, weapons charges and other offenses, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $92,500 secured bond.

Police are still searching for the second man, and ask anyone with information about the crime to call  302-736-7130 or crime stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
