A 23-year-old pizza delivery driver was shot Sunday night in a botched robbery at a Dover apartment complex he was delivering pizza to, Dover Police said.

According to police, the victim was leaving Woodmill Apartments, located on S. Farmview Drive, at about 10 p.m. after delivering food to a customer when two men demanded money from him.

The victim told the men he didn't have any money, police said. The suspects then demanded his car keys, which the victim refused to give them.
