Dover teen stabbed during Sunday night argument, police say

A 17-year-old boy is expected to recover after being stabbed Sunday night during an argument that turned violent, Delaware State Police said.

Troopers were called to the unit block of Webbs Lane in Dover at about 9:21 p.m. after receiving a call about the stabbing. There, they found the injured teen inside an apartment.

Troopers later learned that the victim was arguing with another man when the other person stabbed the victim in the abdomen.

Troopers have not released any information about the suspect, but said the victim is expected to recover. His injuries were not reportedly life-threatening when paramedics took him to the hospital.

Police have not released information about the relationship between the victim and the suspect.
