State police: Wrong-way driver on Concord Pike crashed into wall

State police said a car that was driving in the wrong lanes on Concord Pike Wednesday afternoon turned off the highway, failed to make a turn and crashed into a stone wall. 

State police said a trooper saw a white Hyundai driving north in the southbound lanes of Concord Pike around 1:45 p.m. before the car turned onto Mt. Lebanon Road. 

State police said a car that was driving in the wrong lanes on Concord Pike Wednesday afternoon turned off the high, failed to make a turn and crashed into a stone wall.

The car couldn't negotiate a turn and crashed, state police said. 

Troopers pulled the man from the vehicle and he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, state police said. 

The investigation is ongoing.
