New Jersey man charged with setting $30,000 fire in Dover

The Office of the State Fire Marshal has arrested a New Jersey man on charges in a Dover arson. 

Charles Brown, a 31-year-old Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, resident, has been arrested and charged with burning down a house trailer on Dec. 6. 

Charles Brown, a New Jersey resident, has been charged with arson in the case of a Dover fire set earlier this month.

The fire was reported around 11 a.m. on East Pinewood Drive. The fire caused about $30,000 in damages, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal. 

The office said Brown started the fire on purpose. 

Brown was charged with second-degree arson, possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony, aggravated menacing and breach of release.
