Two arrested after police say they found crack, marijuana in search of Dover home

Mark Matthews was charged with possession of crack and intent to deliver it, second-degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.

Dover officers searched a home Thursday and found crack, marijuana and suspected drug money before arresting two people inside, according to police. 

Officers searched the home in the 100 Block of S. Governors Avenue and arrested Mark Matthews, 49, and Dominique Hampton, 21,  after finding 5.4 grams of crack cocaine, 4.3 grams of marijuana, digital scales and $2,596 in drug proceeds, Dover police said.

Matthews was charged with possession of crack and intent to deliver it, second-degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. He was sent to prison on $16,500 bond.

Hampton was charged with possession of crack and intent to deliver it, conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. She was released on a $15,500 unsecured bond.

Dominique Hampton was charged with possession of crack and intent to deliver it, conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
