Shots fired at Dover driver near Manchester Square

A man leaving the Manchester Square community in Dover was targeted by gunfire Monday night but avoided being hit by any bullets, according to police. 

The 36-year-old man was leaving the community and turning onto White Oak Road  around 11:45 p.m.when a black SUV pulled in front of him and a passenger fired several rounds in his direction, according to Dover police.

The victim fled and the SUV followed with the passenger still firing, Dover police said.
