Nine people have been arrested after a monthlong drug investigation in Stanton, and several of them will face federal immigration charges, Delaware State Police announced on Saturday.

Police said they seized 111 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of heroin and drug money from a residence in the 700 block of Stanton-Christiana Road, and drug paraphernalia from a residence in the 4800 block of Paulson Drive.

Neighbors began complaining about drug activity in neighborhoods along the Saint James Church Road corridor in Stanton, so police launched the investigation in early August, according to a news release. They focused in on the two residences and searched them on Sept. 3 and 4.
