Bicyclist struck by car, cited after leaving Newark shopping center

A bicyclist rode into the path of an oncoming car in Newark Thursday and was hit, according to Newark police. 

Police said the 20-year-old woman rode out of the Park 'n Shop Shopping Center at Apple and Winslow roads and didn't yield for an oncoming Honda Accord.  

She was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries and cited for failure to yield when exiting a driveway, police said.
