Snow expected Friday night, advisory issued for Wayne County

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Wayne and northern Cayuga counties.

The advisory, which goes into effect Friday at 5 p.m. and expiresSaturday morning at 8, projects three to six inches of snow and winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

The rest of the Rochester region is also expected to see measurable snow, with the steadiest snowfall coming Friday night. 

Warmer temperatures will return Sunday, with highs in the 50s and plenty of sun expected.
