A United Airlines flight out of Denver International Airport skidded off the runway Saturday afternoon after landing in Newark, N.J., the Federal Aviation Administration said.
No injuries were reported, the airport agency said in a tweet. Flights were halted from landing or departing at Newark after the incident, and delays are expected, the airport said on Twitter.
As the plane touched down in Newark after 1 p.m., it skidded off the left side of the pavement, the FAA said, its left main landing gear getting stuck in a grassy area.
In a statement, United Airlines said the plane experienced flat tires upon landing.
