Fairview handed Rock Canyon a loss in a 28-19 showdown on Friday.
Fairview quarterback Aidan Atkinson led the passing attack with 344 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns and two interceptions. Aidan Atkinson’s favorite receiver in the contest was Grant Page, who caught 10 passes for 212 yards and three scores.
Dillon Tarves paced all Fairview rushers with 119 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.4 yards per carry. Tarves also tacked on 51 receiving yards.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fairview heading to play Legacy and Rock Canyon taking on Highlands Ranch.
