George Washington was a force in the paint, collecting 60.9 of all rebounds and swatting four shots in their 74-23 victory over Denver North on Friday, Jan. 17.
George Washington was lead in scoring by Jaida Redwine who put up 24 points while also collecting six rebounds and two assists. Maya Whiteside helped the effort by contributing 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Denver North was paced in scoring by Ja’Naya Ward who scored nine points while collecting 14 rebounds. Jaydy Gonzales helped by contributing eight points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with George Washington heading to play Lincoln and Denver North taking on Northfield.
