WATCH: Scór Dhoire's deliver powerful performance of Danny Boy

Scór Dhoire's impressive virtual performance of Danny Boy has been dedicated to all frontline health workers, GAA volunteers and community workers who have delivered during the lockdown period.

An email went to all clubs and on a social media inviting participants on May 6th the product was complete on June 5th.

"We are delighted with how it turned out and simply overwhelmed at the response to the video," commented Derry's Irish Language and Cultural Officer Una Ferguson.

"It is a way of showcasing our cultural talent and activities during these unprecedented times."

The project took many hours of practice and piecing together with 43 artists performing, in come cases dual roles

Jack Warnock, Niall Comer Una and Hannah Ferguson.  Dónal Close helped with the musical arrangement, under the direction of producer Gareth McGreevy.

"Our good Scór friend Gareth McGreevy pulled everything together and provided us with a stunning finished product," Una concluded.

"Coiste Scór Dhoire are incredibly indebted to Gareth, who has also produced many other collaborations."
