SALT LAKE CITY — Washington, D.C., is experienced some tough weather on Tuesday and it’s all over social media.

Multiple social media users tweeted videos and images of heavy rainfall and hail in the Washington, D.C., area on Tuesday. Several of the photos and videos were retweeted and shared by Captain Weather, a Twitter account from The Washington Post centered on weather.

Intense storms descended upon Washington on Tuesday. Multiple severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain, strong winds and hail to the nation’s capital region, according to The Washington Post.
