SALT LAKE CITY — Not all of the NBA playoff bracket has been finalized yet, but on Thursday evening the league announced the schedule for the first-round series between the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets, a matchup that was finalized on Wednesday.

Game 1 between the Jazz and Nuggets will be the first playoff game overall, and it will tip off on Aug. 17 at 11:30 a.m. MDT on ESPN. Games will be played every other day, with Game 2 set to start at 2 p.m MDT on Aug. 19 (TNT), Game 3 on Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. MDT (TNT) and Game 4 on Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. MDT (TNT).

Given that it’s a best-of-seven series, Games 5-7 have dates every other day after Game 4, but tip times are to be determined as necessary.

Denver will be the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference and Utah the No. 6 seed.

The winner of the Jazz-Nuggets series will go on to play the winner of the LA Clippers-Dallas Mavericks series. The Clippers will be the No. 2 seed in the West and the Mavericks the No. 7 seed.
