In addition to Chick-fil-A, Scooter's Coffee with its coffee, beverages, pastries and sandwiches and the lower level Local Bites food court vendors make the Des Moines Partnership Building one of the most diverse dining options for downtown business lunches.

Previously, Chick-fil-A had a location at 500 Grand Ave. in the former Keck City Center in 2017 that was open for just a few weeks. The temporary location was aimed at determining the demand for the restaurant downtown.

The Local Bites food court includes:

  • Local Yocals Farmhouse: Locally sourced burgers, tenderloins, fries, and breakfast starting at 7 a.m.
  • The BBQ Joint: Smoked meats, sandwiches, cookout-inspired sides
  • The Burger Shop: Burgers, sandwiches, chicken fingers and sides
  • Hummus Mediterranean Grill: Build your own gyros, falafels, pitas, salads
  • China Star: Classic Chinese chicken, beef and vegetable entrees
  • Teriyaki Boys: Chicken, shrimp, beef and tofu teriyaki cooked in front of you
  • Michaelangelo’s Pizza and Pasta: Pizza, stromboli, pasta, salads
  • Fernando’s Mexican Grill: Build your own burritos, tacos, quesadillas
  • Sweet Treats: Ice cream, cyclones, milkshakes, cookies and other treats made in house
