Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to speak at Hy-Vee's Exercising Your Character event in Des Moines

Hy-Vee has announced that it will be adding NFL MVP and rising-star Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to its roster of celebrity partnerships.

The official announcement will be made at Hy-Vee’s Exercising Your Character event on Tuesday morning, beginning at 10:30 at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines where Mahomes will be the headlining speaker. He will be joined by "American Ninja Warrior" contestant Tyler “Ninja Bugman” Smith, actor Jesse LeBeau and "MasterChef Junior" contestant Ariana Feygin. 

All fourth- and fifth-graders from schools within a 200-mile radius of Des Moines are invited by Hy-Vee to attend Exercising Your Character, an event that focuses on character building, physical activity and leading a healthy lifestyle. 

Hy-Vee's partnership with Mahomes marks yet another celebrity partnership for the grocer after partnerships with celebrities like Mark Wahlberg and Oprah Winfrey. 

Further details involving the partnership between Mahomes and Hy-Vee will be revealed at a news conference following the event.
