Water rescue involving multiple people ongoing at Brown's Woods in West Des Moines, authorities say

A water rescue is underway at Brown's Woods in West Des Moines, officials said. 

The rescue at the urban forest preserve involves multiple people, a dispatcher with West Des Moines police said around 2 p.m. Monday.
