A Des Moines woman has been charged after allegedly using her car, carrying two of her children, to ram her boyfriend's vehicle.

Dashalique A. Jackson, 19, was arrested Monday on two counts of child endangerment and one count of domestic abuse assault with a dangerous weapon, all misdemeanors, according to Iowa Courts Online records. She was released Tuesday afternoon.

Dashalique Arenise Jackson showed in her Polk County Jail mugshot.

A criminal complaint filed by Des Moines police says that Jackson was in a parking lot in the 3600 block of 30th Street just before 8 p.m. Monday when she intentionally drove her car into her boyfriend's vehicle. Her children, who were seated in her car, were not injured.

The victim and Jackson lived together and have been in a relationship for five months, the report states.

Jackson's listed attorney, Charles Issacson, did not immediately return a request for comment.
