A Des Moines man was arrested Saturday for allegedly sexually abusing a minor and attempting to entice another, court records show.

Loren Lewis, 39, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony, two counts of enticing away a minor and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. Lewis is accused of luring minors under age 13 from a Des Moines home to the 1400 block of Geil Avenue just before 2 p.m. Saturday.

Loren Lewis, 39, of Des Moines, is charged with sexually abusing a minor and enticing another with intentions of sexual abuse.

Lewis instructed the minors to pull down their pants and when they refused, Lewis became angry, pushed one minor and grabbed his shirt, according to court documents.  At one point, officials allege Lewis exposed himself and attempted to perform sex acts on one of the victims.

According to court records, Lewis admitted to police he enticed the minors with the intention of having sex with them. No-contact orders have been requested on behalf of the minors.

Lewis received probation for enticing away a child and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse in 1998, according to court records. Lewis did not appear in a registered sex offender search Sunday.

Lewis remains in Polk County Jail on $22,000 bond.

An attorney was not listed for Lewis as of Sunday afternoon. Lewis will appear in court Monday at 8 a.m.
