Man found dead in Des Moines apartment; police investigating as homicide

A homicide investigation is underway after police found a man dead Monday in a Des Moines apartment. 

Officers received a report of a possible suicide at 5:41 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Evergreen Avenue, according to a news release by Des Moines police, but said "the manner of death does not appear to be suicide."
