President Donald Trump's reelection efforts are underway in Iowa. The campaign and the Republican National Committee announced his state leadership team Thursday.

"Our Iowa Trump Victory leadership team will help to replicate and expand the President's near double-digit victory in Iowa in 2016, delivering a 2020 win for both the pesident and the GOP candidates and up and down the ballot," Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale and Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a joint statement.

Gov. Kim Reynolds and Sen. Chuck Grassley will serve as honorary state chairs.

Carly Miller will be the campaign's state director and Stephanie Alexander will be his regional political director.

Eric Branstad, the son of former Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad who served as Trump's state director during the 2016 general election, will return as a senior advisor. Tana Goertz, who was a co-chair of Trump's Iowa caucus campaign and an advisor during the general election, will be a team coordinator.

The president's reelection campaign has been announcing leadership teams for various states over the last few months. Last week, it announced the team that would lead Trump's New Hampshire efforts.
